Fire Chief
Chief Lindley was appointed to the position of Interim Fire Chief in January 1, 2022, providing the department with over 17 years of fire service experience in fire service operations, community risk reduction, emergency medical services, and emergency management. He holds over 125 certifications throughout all aspects of fire and emergency services, and maintains the professional designation through the California State Fire Marshal’s Office as a Chief Fire Officer. In 2013, Chief Lindley graduated from the Los Angeles City Fire Departments Leadership Academy.
On top of his fire service education, Chief Lindley holds an Associate Degree in Fire Technology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire and Emergency Services, as well as a Master’s Degree in Management, with a concentration in Emergency Services Management. In addition to his active fire service career, Chief Lindley is also an Associate College Professor at a local community college where he teaches various fire science and technology classes to the next generation of fire service professionals.
